关於猪的英语
英文的猪名，可举出下列六种：
（1）Pig 猪的通称，又有小猪的意思，如粤菜中的烤猪，英文叫 roast pig，便是用生下不久的乳猪。
（2）Hog 指长成的大猪，是一种阉割的雄猪，特指屠宰用的大肥猪。
（3）Boar 指没有阉割的雄猪。Wild Boar野猪。
（4）Sow 母猪，作为繁殖用的。
（5）Porker 肥的小猪，供食用的猪。这猪的肉便是 Pork ，是一般对猪肉的说法，如猪排便叫 Pork Chop。
（6）Swine 猪的总称，为文学用语，单复同形。英美人骂人时爱用此字，如 You Swine！
兹就与猪有关的字句举例如下，以供参考：
Piggish 贪食的，不洁的。
Pig-headed 冥顽不灵的。
Pig-pen 猪圈。
Pig-skin 马鞍，足球，手套。（原意为猪皮）
Pig-sticking 猎野猪。
Pig-sty 猪圈。肮脏的地方。
Pig-wash 猪食，劣酒，坏汤，稀薄的咖啡。
Make a pig of oneself 吃得过多，狠吞虎咽。
Pigs might fly 不可信的事。
Bring one’s pigs to a pretty market 大失所望，大蚀本。
Buy a pig in a poke（或 bag）粗心购物，不免上当。
Go (the) whole hog 有始有终，贯彻到底。
Hog in armour 沐猴而冠者。
Call one’s hogs to the hill 打鼾。
As drunk as David’s sow 泥醉如猪。
Get the wrong sow by the ear 错认人或物，见解错误，论断错误。
Make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear 狗嘴里找象牙，坏材料做不出好东西来。
Grease a fat sow 向财阀行贿，大可不必。

看过卖油郎的近照,难以想像他年轻时的'吃'相和'睡'相,不过,话说回来,'人不可貌相'!

翻译只要能表达这个意思就对了.

That's too long-winded and not condensed. You may like to think of a better one.

我用了十一个英文字, 其中有一个字(very)还是可有可无的, 不过是为了加强语气和效果。每个中文字提到的，我都有点到。
