旅美著名女中音歌唱家何玲玲,早年毕业于著名的广西艺术学院 Guangxi Arts Institute (GAI) http://www.gxai.cn/ 音乐学院声乐系,曾担任广西歌舞团独唱演员.也是中国仅有少数几位的瑶族女中音歌唱家， 1994年她移居新加坡,任教于Lee Wei Song School of Music, 随后赴那布拉斯加- 林肯大学和享誉世界的约翰. 霍普金斯大学Peabody音乐学院学习, 获得音乐硕士学位和艺术家表演文凭.

近年来, 何玲玲（Lingling H. Peng 玲玲）成功地活跃于国际歌剧舞台和音乐会中, 并以出色的演唱才能在下面几个著名国际比赛中获奖: 墨那歌举行的第三届蒙特-卡罗国际声乐大赛, 美国纽约举行的歌笛. 雷声那国际声乐比赛和美国丹佛举行的韦拉. 司根门国际声乐比赛. 此外, 她还获得美国国家歌唱教师协会声乐比赛的第一名和新加坡作曲家协会举办的亚洲声乐演唱赛冠军. 她以自己卓越的表演和演唱才华先后在十多部歌剧中扮演不同风格角色, 其中有, <女人皆如此>中的德萝贝拉, <蝴碟夫人> 中的铃木, <汉瑟尔与葛雷泰>中的汉瑟尔, <朱烈尔. 凯撒>中的珂雷丽亚, <吉普塞女孩>中的吉普塞女王等等. 她还应邀参加意大利罗马音乐节, 爱尔兰沃特佛国际歌剧节和新加坡亚洲艺术节的演出, 以及在美国, 新加坡, 马来西亚, 奥大利亚等国家举行音乐会和独唱音乐会. 受到广泛的赞赏.她目前是华盛顿国家歌剧院的签约歌唱家。

Performed her first public solo at age 10, Lingling received her B.A. in vocal performance from Guangxi Academy of Arts http://www.gxai.cn/ and studied voice in Beijing Central Conservatory of Music. She won numerous awards and competitions at the national and provincial level and had over one hundred recordings of new compositions for radio stations and TV programs. Notably, she was the soloist of the "Sound of Nationalities" and "The Dewy Rose" in the Spring Festival Gala of China Central Television.

Singapore

As a performer and voice instructor, Lingling was invited to Singapore in 1994. She represented Singapore in the Asia Vocal Competitions held in Hong Kong and Malaysia. In 1997 Lingling won the first prize in the vocal competition organized by Singapore Composer Circle. She performed the role of Gek Choo in the world premier of "Bunga Mawar" with Singapore Lyric Opera. Lingling also held recitals in Singapore and Malaysia and her performances earned the acclaim of a large audience. For three years, she was the recipient of the Art Bursary (overseas) from Singapore National Art Council

Lingling has been described as...fantastic, rich and strong; a voice with force and dramatic quality...great acting that connects the voice with the character impressively.

Lingling was a winner in the 7th Gerda Lisser Foundation International Voice Competition in New York. As one of the twelve singers selected from eight major cities around the world, Lingling was invited to compete in the 3^rd Monte-Carlo Voice Masters International Competition in May 2005.

She performed the roles of Tigrana in Puccini's opera Edgar and Musetta in Leoncavallo's La Boheme, Martha in Iolanta in 2006. Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) has been her signature role. Other roles included Gypsy Queen (The Bohemian Girl), Hansel (Hansel and Gretel), Cornelia (Julius Caesar), and Derabella (Cosi fan tutte). In April, 2007, she sang the role of Mary Magdalene in Waundell Saavedrea's new opera Passion in New York City. Her soloist oratorio performances include Verdi抯 Requiem, HandelMessiah and Mendelssohn抯 Elijah, Mozart抯 Mass in c minor, among others.

Linging is a Graduate of Peabody Coanservatory in the studio of Phyllis Bryn-Julson and received a M.M. in voice from University of Nrbraska-Lincoln where she studied with Prof. Ariel Bybee.

Voice Studio

As a Member of National Association of Teachers of Singing and American Guild of Musical Artists, Lingling teaches in Musical Theater Center in Reckville MD. She was a voice instructor of Concordia University and a voice teaching assistant in School of Music at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She also taught at Lee Wei Song School of Music in Singapore.
